First time using the Josh Donaldson bat I got a solid triple felt good sounded good. Later in the game got a fastball low and inside which I turned on it and got the end of the bat. The bat shatters and breaks completely right above where the handle ends. Not sure what happened I don’t usually break bats on that point of contact. Maybe the wood was old because it was discounted and the version was a 2021 I believe. But I don’t think bats age like that. I’m disappointed more in why I just didn’t go with Birdman Bats like I usually do. Those bats are solid, especially the birch wood, and they have a lot of hits in them which you can barrel up really well. Oh well lessons learned I’m never buying a bat from this company again.
